I have writer's blog.
I've been commissioned to do a book on food and travel - things I've eaten and places I've explored, and for it to be ready in time for the Xmas spending spree, I must knuckle down and write. I just can't get started. My first chapter is about my experiences in India.
A theme of the book is stamina - my commitment to endurance in everything but focusing on eating and traveling. Last night, after the Honoring Ceremony for the new initiates of The ManKind Project (www.MKP.org.za) - men who completed their New Warrior Training Adventure - an endurance journey into the heart - we dined at The Hussar Grill. Since my birthday in November my weight has see-sawed - not by too much but by enough not to have made progress since then.
My mission in life is to be healthy, so that I can have the energy and longevity to continue and make a positive contribution to the world. Today I have renewed resolve. After last night where I proved my stamina by eating 800g of Warthog at the Hussar with belly-room to spare, my stamina today will help shedding kilos.
Right, write.
